In a landmark decision on Saturday July 2nd 2011 at the MOARCON 2011 (Akluj) the Two bodies of Indian Orthopaedic Research Group and Maharashtra Orthopaedic Association came together to sign an Agreement of Academic Collaboration. The Indian Orthopaedic Research Group was given the responsibility of helping the Maharashtra Orthopaedic Association in coming out with the online version of the Maharashtra Orthopaedic Association Journal. IORG will provide and run the online Journal software for submission, reviewing and publishing the articles of the MOA Journal. Both parties will be involved in processing of the academic content of the Journal and to strive to take the Journal to international standards. This will make the MOA online Journal to be the first Journal of any state chapter in medical faculty to have its own independent online Journal with online facilities of International standard Journals. The Indian Orthopaedic Research Group is proud to be associated with The Maharashtra Orthopaedic Association.

This is indeed a new beginning and this Collaboration will surely go a long way in helping both organizations in achieving their academic goals.
