The Indian Orthopaedic Research Group takes great pleasure in announcing the First IORG Certificate Course in Research Methodology. This will be a Basic Course on Thesis writing and Journal Publication to be held in City of Pune on 21st August 2011 at hotel Deccan Royale.
The members of IORG Core Committee and Orthopaedic Surgeons experienced in Research and research methodology will be speaking on various topics starting from basics of thesis selection and execution to conversion of thesis into a successful Journal Publication.
The IORG Basic Research Course in Thesis Writing and Journal Publication aims at providing:
- Vital research principles & tools to students to perform a scientific research & write a quality thesis.
- Complete information regarding the standard university format with guidelines on selection of a thesis topic
- Step by step guidance through detailed sessions for critical aspects of thesis including introduction, review of literature, material methods, results and discussion.
- A brief overview of essential knowledge of statistics
- Guidelines for creating a Journal manuscript from thesis and getting it published
- A unique opportunity to discuss the thesis of every participant and get individual queries resolved under expert guidance by working in small groups

The event is being organized by Indian Orthopaedic Research Group along with Pune orthopaedic Society and Sancheti Institute for Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation.
