The position of sitting during harvesting or weeding is an important factor in inducing footdrop!

The type of the hand activity may also have a role, because of occurrence of the footdrop on the side of the dominant hand.

This paper presents a concept of induced peroneal nerve palsy secondary to farming activities in farmers. Although it has some flaws in methodology, the primary observation is very interesting and needs further work. This might help in suggesting some preventive methods too
