A breakaway session on Orthopaedic Oncology under the aegis of Indian Society Of Medical and Paediatric Oncology along with Poona Orthopaedic Society has been organised on Friday, July 15 · 4:00pm - 6:00pm at the S.L. Kirloskar Convention Centre, Marriott, S.B. Road, Pune .

Lectures and interaction with eminent faculty viz.Dr. Ajay Puri (T.M.H., Mumbai), Dr. Manish Agarwal (P.D.Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai). Dr. Mandip Shah (G.C.R.I., Ahmedabad) , Dr. Subin (R.C.C. Trivandrum), Dr. Ashish Gulia (T.M.H. Mumbai), Dr. Kishore Reddy (Hyderabad).

Topics covered will be from the point of interest of a general orthopaedic surgeon and will cover the approach to such cases, biopsy techniques, G.C.T., approach towards malignant bone tumors and Role of P.E.T. scan in Orthopaedics. This will be followed by an interaction with all the faculty and audience can pose any queries to the faculty regarding topics in Orthopaedic Oncology.

Its going to be an excellent opportunity to understand the current scenario in treating bone tumors in a concise way. Coupled with this is an excellent venue and delicious spread later in the evening.

This programme will be followed by inauguration of "Best Of ASCO" conference and later by cocktail dinner.
